I recently learned from a genealogy forum posting that Jackson Co., Missouri, currently has on its web site a searchable database of marriage records.

From this database I was able to retrieve a small pile of marriage records for SCHWITZGEBEL brides and grooms, as well as a few variant spellings and related surnames:

If you're doing research on Jackson Co. lines, my advice would be to get 'em while they're hot. Chatter on the forum has it that Missouri's governor is trying to get legislation passed that will make this information inaccessible.
